IGNITE STUDENT MINISTRIES
At Calvary Hill, we know that being a teenager today isn't easy, but they don't have to navigate it alone. Led by Youth Pastor Mandi Burchell, our student ministry is a place where middle and high schoolers can be themselves, ask the tough questions, and find a faith that is real and active.
What Student Life Looks Like
Wednesday Night Midweek: Every Wednesday, we gather in the Youth Department for a time that's specifically for them—combining solid teaching with a laid-back atmosphere.
Youth-Led Services: We believe in the leadership of our students. We regularly hold services where our teens, like Nolan Wilkinson, take the lead in worship and bringing the Word.
Life Together: Whether it's a regular service or a special outing like Skate Night, we are all about "living life" with our students and meeting them exactly where they are.
A Place to Belong: Mandi’s heart is to get down on their level, showing every teen the love of Christ in a way that is relatable and genuine.
Our Goal for Every Student
"We want our students to leave Calvary Hill not just knowing about Jesus, but knowing Him personally—equipped to lead with grace and confidence in their schools and beyond."

Mandi Burchell
Calvary Hill Youth pastor
I’ve always believed that to reach the heart of a teenager, you have to be willing to get down on their level. Youth ministry isn't about looking down from a distance; it’s about living life together. Whether we are laughing through a chaotic game or diving deep into the hard questions, my goal is to show every student that the love of Christ meets them right where they are—in their schools, their struggles, and their triumphs.
